Offender:	Joanie Calloway :: Black / Female - 22 years old Joanie Calloway is charged with two counts of capital murder in connection to the shooting death of two HPD officers. Calloway was also taken into custody around the time of the shooting. According to officials, she was in the car with the two suspects.

Offender:	Marvin Banks :: Black / Male - 29 years old Marvin Banks has been charged with two counts of capital murder, one count grand theft auto, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm. Marvin Banks was taken into custody around 1:15 a.m. He was apprehended at North Gate Inn.

Offender:	Curtis Banks :: Black / Male - 26 years old Curtis Banks has been charged with two counts capital murder as an accessory after the fact. Around 3:00 a.m. Curtis Banks was apprehended at Plantation Place apartments.

Summary:	Officer Liqori Tate and Officer Benjamin Deen were shot and killed while conducting an investigation during a traffic stop of a 2000 Gold Cadillac Escalade, at Gordon and East Fourth streets in the downtown area of Hattiesburg. The Escalade was occupied by two brothers, Curtis & Marvin Banks and a female, Joanie Calloway. Off. Deen had initiated the stop and Off. Tate arrived as backup. Suddenly, subject Marvin Banks opened fire on both officers, hitting them both. The two brothers then stole one of the two police cars and fled the area, leaving the 3rd female suspect on the scene, where she was subsequently taken into custody. Passerby citizens came to the Officers' aid and notified police. Both Banks brothers were apprehended later the same night.
