Bio: Shane R. Eyre was born in New Hartford, a son of Jeffrey and Patricia (Gossin) Eyre and graduated from Holland Patent High School.

Shane was employed with the Town of Vienna as a Constable Peace Officer as well as a Veterinary Technician with the Paris Hill Cat Clinic. He was a member of the NYSPOA.

Shane would do anything for anyone he loved. He was a Jack of all trades and would do his best to be the master of whatever he was learning. Shane was the go-to guy, especially when it came to computers. He was always prepared for absolutely anything that could come his way.

He truly loved animals and had a special ability when it came to cats. He and his brother Mason had a special bond with llamas. Shane enjoyed taking a walk, hiking bald mountain once a year, playing magic, the gathering with friends, driving, traveling, video games, cooking, baking, barbecuing or just going for a swim with friends in the West Canada Creek.

Above all, he loved going to the shooting range with his coworkers to show off his target skills.
